Yes.
I watched that with a friend the other day. We sat there wanting to watch a film and looking through my DVD collection trying to choose one, and I said "You know, I haven't seen -that- for a while!" and neither had she. Neither of us had seen it for a couple of years, but I first watched it with her and her dad. So we rewatched it.
It makes me love Beatrix more, because sensible, badass women are either well or badly designed and I kind of like this one. I love and loved and will always love Beatrix Potter and her creations, but she's a little fuddy. It put me off using Beatrix, but in a loving way. Kiddo kicks the name into a new century. Literally.
Then again, I looove Beatrice.... I think I like it a little more. Beatriz is also cute and quirky, but not as dignified or beautiful or interesting as Beatrix or Beatrice.

That's who I think of too. The film got rid of the old lady image I had of Beatrix.
