I knew a Venus as a child and I always found her name odd. Now I'm not sure how I feel. A lot of Greek / Roman mythology names are becoming quite common, I've across a few Apollos & Persephones and Athena is climbing the charts. I think Venus would fit in just fine, even if it's too much for me.
