My boyfriend is Indian and we were talking about names. He mentioned he loves the name Shefali (SHEF-a-lee). In his language, Bangali, S's are always pronounced "Sh", so the spelling Sephalie popped into my head, and I thought that was quite pretty. After a quick search, it turns out, there are Indian people who use this spelling. I could have swore it was a real French name but I guess not haha. So what do you think of Sephalie as a name? People could choose whether to call her SEF-a-lee or SHEF-a-lee depending on their background. I think I would switch back and forth.
