1) Maisie has become very popular where I live (Britain) over the last couple of years, I think it is a sweet name but it is too sweet for me to use.
2) I think I prefer Maisie because I get Maisy confused with Macey which I pronounce differently, also Maisie looks more balanced and I generally prefer "ie" ending to "y".
3)Not at all, I think that if you say two names together enough times they will sound right together - only you can decide though.
4) yes, Jasper and Maisie sound brilliant as siblings.
