Is Leven pronounced "LEV-en" or "LEEV-en?" I would assume the former, and that it was masculine. It makes me think of leavened and unleavened bread and the surname Levin (from "Anna Karenina," I think.)
I prefer the name Lev. Much easier to deal with.

Yeah, I'm not sure on the pronunciation. From what I've Googled, it's pronounced like eleven without the first e.
