Yes, I love that spelling of Laurence, too! And regarding Kaley / Michaela... I don't like those names as much. I fell in love with this name 9 years ago by coming across the athlete named Michellie (Mi-kay-lee). Michellie is the only way I have seen it spelled, and I absolutely LOVE the pronunciation, but the spelling is confusing. So that's why I spelled it Mikaley... although, I don't love that either. So I don't know how I'd end up spelling it, but I just adore the name. :)

I do rather like Michellie it has a sweet sound to it but I don't really like the spelling Mikaley because it looks like it's supposed to be Mikayla or Mikenzie, just rather uneducated looking somehow. :(
Michellie is a better spelling but could be mistaken for Michelle-ee you know. So something like Michalie or Michaelie would be better although all of these spelling look so made-up! It' too bad bacauce the name is rather cute! :)
