[Opinions] Re: Holiday
in reply to a message by Array
When I was 12 I used to think that Holiday Inn would make a lovely name for a book character, I also liked Christmas Day! :) I actually still like it though I don't think I'd use it, even on a character! :) It would be perfectly fine for a middle name, for a boy or a girl really, as it's sort of a LN or a word name (like Liberty) that has a nice meaning. The only thing is that with a name like Holiday people might exspect the bearer to have been born on or around a holiday, such as Christmas, ect. and it is a bit hard to plan when a child will actually be born! :)
I'm also really liking Athenry because I noticed it had Henry in it, which I adore! It also reminds me of Abernathy (spelling? or is it Athernathy?) which is rather cool! :)
"That tongue of yours is hinged in the middle, sister!"

Abernathy?
Why does this name ring bells?
It sounds SO familar, like the answer's right on the tip of my tongue...
"Chan eil tuil air nach tig traoghadh"

Oh I miss you, you know"
