[Opinions] Varian for a boy.
I recently discovered that it was the name of the late American journalist Varian Fry (1907-1967). In his case, his name probably derives from the surname Varian (which could be Old Irish in origin, but also Old English or Old French). However, it could also be the anglicized form of Latin Varianus (an extended form of Varius). So, what are your impressions of the name? Does it have any teasing potential for a boy in this day and age?
