MelisandeETA: Found the blog. Now I feel like creating a Swedish equivalent. Too bad we don't have that trend with car stickers, or whatever they are.

Yeah, those baby name stickers on cars seem to be a very German/Austrian thing. I've never seen them anywhere else so far. (Then again, I haven't been to Denmark in a while. Maybe there...? ;-) )
Honestly, though, they are a great, name nerd-ish pastime on long car rides. Or when you get stuck in traffic. Again. (Not to mention they are the reason I found out that my mom is a name nerd in disguise :P )
I'd just wish they'd drop this Disney-ish font already; it can be hard to decipher at times :PAh, while you are here, I have a question:
Is Bjarka actually used in Scandinavia (or at least in Sweden)?

Hmm, I was in Copenhagen in July, didn't see any. I hope they'll come here ... :) Signs like these: http://tinyurl.com/btaypbu were very popular a few years ago, it was wonderful. But they are very rare now. :(There are only 4 Bjarka in Sweden, definitely not a Swedish name. Seems very Icelandic to me - I know a Bjarki whose mother is from Iceland.

I think you still see the stroller signs fairly often. My heart jumped with joy when I saw a little Isolde, but I cringe every time the sign says Kevin or Nova.
