Freda was my mother's name, (that spelling), so understandably, I love it.She was rarely nick-named, Freda being a short name, though some of her sisters occasionally called her Fee.

Aw. Freda, nn Fee, is darling. :-)My Aunt Freda was a 60s wild child which was a big no-no in my family. But I secretly admired her. I associated Freda with freedom. I've toyed with the idea of Freedom, nn Freda.
