More culinary than pretentious, I think! It reminds me vividly of spinach sauce.
That said, it is a mouthful! Pity that Flora has become margarine; Florence seems to be rising in popularity, and is certainly a more manageable name. But Florentina is more versatile in that it could also shorten to Tina as well as the more usual Florrie, Renee and Flo.
