[Opinions] Alleyne
What do you think of Alleyne?
It's a family name, usually relegated to the second middle name spot for a couple of cousins of mine (like Patrick Marcus Alleyne Surname or Olivia Anne Alleyne Surname), and I was thinking it might make a nice FN.
Is it more feminine or masculine to you? How would you pronounce it, if you read it before hearing it?
Edit: it's a family SURname

Makes me think of little green men in their UFOs.
It makes a cool middle name for a girl. I don't think it seems masculine enough as a personal name for a guy, even a middle name. Because of the e on the end. If it were Alleyn it'd seem more like it suited as a guy middle name as well. Not that it'd stop me from giving it to a boy as a middle, if I were determined to pass on the name because I had another more important reason besides liking how it looks/sounds. I'd say it al-AYN (al like in pal, ayn like in pain)

Looks like a kre8tyv spelling of Elaine that didn't turned out very good.
I would pronounce it ah-LANE and to me it sounds feminine.
I'm sad to say I don't like it. It looks too much like the German word allein, lonely.
