[Facts] Romélie
in reply to a message by SugarPlumFairy
I apologize for being off topic but Romélie caught my eye.
I've never come across this name before and I can't seem to find too much info on it either. So far I've only found out that it seems to be a fairly rare name in France (one site claimed that only 51 girls have been named Romélie since 1900, most of them born in 1983).
Do you happen to have any further information on Romélie? Like its etymology and meaning? Do you know if it has been in use before 1900?
I'm sorry if I'm overstepping, but new discoveries are always so exciting ;)

Apparently it's a feminisation of Romeo.
Thank you!
