I used to dislike the name
Ivy because it has the Poison
Ivy connection too but then I key the cutesest little girl named
Ivy Dawn and the image of
Ivy in my mind totally changed. It's fairly sweet but withought a lot of fuss, pretty but not over-the-top feminine and would work well from childhood to adulthood.
Rose is very sweet too and between the two I do prefer
Rose because I'd consider using it for a daughter.
Ivy would be easier to make combos with I think and it is less popular than
Rose.
Ivy Isabelle is okay but the double I names is a bit much.
Ivy Madeleine is quite lovely!
Ivy Cecilia is okay but doesn't flow well.
My suggestion is stick with middle names that don't start with vowels because
Ivy starts and ends with long vowel sounds.
