I think it's alright, it's my middle name. I pronounce it differently than normal though, and that was always a bother. People would say either CAH-ruh or CARE-uh, but I say CA-ruh. It's a hard pronunciation to write out. Kind of like the first a in calendar? It might be a regional pronunciation, I don't know. I find the other two pronunciations very unattractive. Cara as a spelling is preferable to Kara.
