[Opinions] Liev?
And more specifically, Gilead Liev. Wdyt?
Would you pronounce it with one syllable or two?
Is Gilead Levi better?
Any other suggestions with the "Lee" sound?

I like Lev, Liev looks weird to me. So yes, I'd use Levi instead.
I'm not sure how to pronounce it? At first glance I thought it was a misspelling of the name Leif. I love the name Leif! Officially it is prn l-ayf, but I prn it like the word leaf. Liev also makes me want to add the letter e (as in Lieve) which is a Belgium girls name I think?
I think Gilead Levi would be better as you wouldn't wonder about the gender of the child. Gilead Leif, however, would be my choice

Liev looks too much like the girls' name Liv. I don't care for it.
I love Liev.
I would use Liev or Lev if my husband let me. Gilead Liev is great, prefer it as one syllable. I'm not a fan of Levi.

I say it with two syllables, like the town Kiev. I dont like it very much, because of the similarity to the town and the food chicken kiev!
Levi is much better in my opinuon and I think it flows better with Gilead too.

I pronounce it as "leave", but I could be wrong.
I think Gilead Liev sounds better than Gilead Levi.

I guess I'd pronounce it with one syllable, like leave. It looks like a typo-ed Levi, to be honest. I'd much rather see Levi Gilead. Liev pronounced like leave makes me think of Alleev, or however the painkiller is spelled. Two syllables and it sounds like a Russian mobster.
