I have a great grandfather named Smiley. It's his given name. And true to his name, he was a contagiously happy man. When the name Miley became more popular I thought it could be a nice way to honor him.

But lately, I've been thinking… Would it really be so bad to use Smiley in the middle if it were an honoring name?

What would you think if you met a boy or a girl with the (probably second) middle name Smiley? What about a girl with the middle name Miley?
