I'd say it's an abomination.
It looks ugly and horrid. If they were going for the Raven pronunciation then I think they would get a bit stuck because I would pronounce it RAY-vin. However if they were going for RAY-vin, then... It sounds as ugly as it looks.

How do you pronounce Raven? I have an American accent (from Wyoming) and when I say them, Raven and RAY-vin sound exactly the same.
They sound similar, with my English accent the RAY is still emphasised but the second syllable is more like a cross between vin and van, kind of like vuhn.
