I made this name up when I was younger. I read a book about the islands of the Atlantic
Ocean and fell in love with
Sable Island outside
Nova Scotia, Canada.
The book I read said that the French word for sand is
sablon, from which I got Sablona. Later I learned that the French word for sand is simply
sable (pr. sahbl), but I still like Sablona. The only think I don't like is that it's a bit too close to "sabla", which is a mild cuss in Swedish (like "sabla idiot"; darn idiot).
WDYT about Sablona?
(Apparently it means "template" in Czech if spelled with a v over the S...)
(For fun I also made up Gravella from the word "gravel", but I think it sounds horrible!)
