I used to like the name Elliot for av boy, but it has become pretty popular here, so I grew tired of it. Then, the other day, I thought: "Elliotte would actually sound sweet on a girl!" Apparently it has been used.
Then today I saw a book by lovely James Herriot and thought: "I wonder if Herriotte would work as a first name? It does sound like Harriet...but maybe it's too close to the word herring?"
What do you think? Usable or awful? (I'm not planning to use them, I just want to know what you think!)
