Daithi means "swift" and he's been running the length of our apartment all day, plus I wanted a D because I feel bad for changing his name. I've had a family cat named Duncan before, and it just didn't feel right to have another. Plus SO hates it.

Aw, I love Duncan. I think it's cute. But yeah, if you had a cat Duncan before, I can see why you'd want to change it.I must be a weird namenerd, because I never give my pets middle names. My childhood dog was just Bubba.
