I've encountered Laura and Lauren but never a Laurel. Of the three, Laura is my favorite but Laurel is a close second, far nicer than Lauren, in my opinion. Not only does Laurel bring lovely green leafy imagery to mind but, from traditional use of laurel wreaths, I also associate "excellence" with Laurel; in fact, I tend to think of it as sort of an honorary virtue name.

Of your combinations, I best like Laurel Vivienne for sound, flow and feel, and I enjoy like the "excellence alive" association I get from it. I also like Laurel Caris and Laurel Cosette. For me, Finley is masculine and the others are a bit too "l" heavy, though I do like the feel of Elise with Laurel.

I've never encountered a live one either. Possibly because South Africa isn't laurel country. I know more Lorna people and Lorraine people than Laura people, but there are a gazillion Laurens. Now that I pause to think about it, that's strange.

I have known one Laurel, she was a high school teacher of mine and would be in her fifties probably now. It's definitely not popular around here, probably because there is a town called Laurel right near.
I don't like it as much as Lauren or Laura. It's indistinct and kind of mumbly, and with certain middle names just sounds like Laura slurred.

I think Laurel is sweet. Maybe people view it as too dated or like an old lady name?
