Polly is a guilty pleasure name of mine. I really love it, it just sounds so sweet. I don't think I would have the guts to actually use it but I love, love hearing that someone else did. When I did think about using it I thought of using the name Polly itself but I do like it a lot as a nickname for Mary and also Paula. Would give the child more options just in case.
I have a thing for "olly" names, I love Polly, Holly, Molly and even Dolly! :)
My daughter had a sweet older woman as a preschool teacher named Polly. I really do like it!
