I think Margot is a pretty cool name. It's got a rough sound to it, and it's definitely one of those girl's names I would call strong. I wouldn't think a thing of it if I met one without any French ancestry. It's not a difficult name to figure out in terms of pronunciation.

Margot Lake I don't like so much. It would really depend on the last name it was with and if the flow was good there, but it just falls flat.
