Well, I don't particularly care for Mary or Rita. And to be honest, I don't care for Marita at all... It sounds sort of like somebody with a few under their belt, asking for another " marrrr-itaaa"...
(I know, I know, most people aren't asking for another margarita when they are drunk.)
It's just the image that popped into my mind when I read the name.
Anyways, so, nah. It's nms and I just don't really like it much. But I wouldn't go so far as to say its a terrible ugly name. That is reserved for (in my opinion!) Gertrude, Martha, Larry or Horace...
