Hi guys!

Cecily Winifred was born on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 at 2:24AM. She came a little early, weighing 5lbs. She is so precious.

She has a highly unexpected mop of bright red hair! My husband's father is a red-head, but nobody else in the family is! Frances is absolutely delighted with her little sister, and calls her "Celery" because she can't pronounce Cecily XD

I came home from hospital yesterday evening, and I'm exhausted, but elated. Thank you all for your help in naming her; I couldn't have asked for more advice! xx

You're so sweet, thank you! I love her red hair, it was a great surprise :) 'Celery' is fab, and it is definitely sticking! Frances told all of her nursery that we had named her new sister 'Celery William'! That gave me a laugh, and I had a lot of explaining to do! xx

I love both the combo and the individual names, especially Winifred which I'd use in a heartbeat if I only lived in an English-speaking country. Glad to see someone else use it. :)

I'm Swedish. The problem is that we don't have the W sound, and "Vinifred" just doesn't sound quite as good as Winifred does ...

That has to be one of the most beautiful names ever. Cecily Winifred is gorgeous!! Winifred is in our top 5 for a girl and I love Frances/Francis.

Cecily, I love that name! I'm using it for the name of the protagonist in a fantasy novel I'm working on. And Winifred is nice, too, though I like it with the name Winnie.

Beautiful name! And oh my gosh, so cute what her big sister calls her! Reminds me of when my son couldn't ever remember what we were going to name his baby sister (Margaret) so he kept calling her Magnet. :) And also yay red hair! I think it's so pretty! Genetics are so cool. :)

Frances is 4 :) She's doing pretty good! She loves her sister Celery to bits. I hope they have a sisterly bond- I'm very close to my sisters, and I'd love for them to be the same! Frances is being very grown up; she wants to help me with everything :) I'm very proud of her.
