Kaylee is a year old now and a delightful little girl full of smiles and laughter. Chad and I weren't trying for another child yet, so we were suprised to find out that I was pregnant again! The new baby is going to be a boy and we're now deep into plans for his nursery.
Chad and I are doing the nursery ourselves as we think it's important to make it a personal and secure environment, which is something a designer who doesn't know our family can't provide. We're going with an ocean theme for the room.
Kaylee is a bit confused about the whole thing, but is fascinated with her Mommy's ever growing pregnant stomach! It helps that one of her friend Hannah's mother just had a new baby so we've been able to explain to her that she's going to have a new brother, just like Hannah...
