I love Joseph! It's a great name and I have a very positive association with Joseph (it's my boyfriend's name and the name of several men in my family...either Joseph or a form of it). I love the nn's Joe and Joey, too.

I am also naming one of my sons after a friend who helped me out a lot in a really bad situation I was in, and I may pair his name with Joseph, which would make my firstborn son Nathaniel Joseph.

I looked at your favorite names and noticed some Italian ones. Have you considered Giuseppe, the Italian form of Joseph? I had one of those in my family, so I'm partial to the name myself, but it would go nicely with some of the other names in your list.
