I read this name in a news article and it really bothers me for some reason - Destin (m) - is it a (m) form of Destiny or a variant of Dustin? O_o WdYt?

Not sure what its first roots are, but I do know it's the name of a city in Florida. I've seen it a couple of times on boys. Don't care for it (or Destiny or Dustin, for that matter). BTW, I also thought of Desitin, Elemmennope. :b

It's not the best name...I wouldn't pick it but I can't say it's the worst I have heard.
