I'm reading "The Lonely Doll: The Search for Dare
Wright" by
Jean Nathan, a book about a 50's fashion model turned children's book author, and the name Dare has been on my mind because of it. This woman's name was actually
Alice Dare
Wright, but everyone called her Dare. I think it sounds cool, in that 50's retro sort of way, kind of like Bing or
Bette. What do you think? Keep in mind that I'm not planning on naming a child, so you don't have to think of it in that context.
