[Opinions] Rockmond
What are your thoughts on this name, especially when compared to other names that end in -mond (or even -mund), such as Desmond?

Trying WAY too hard. Sorry.
Oddly, I like Rockmond. It kind-of blends country and big town. Although I prefer Desmond to Rockmond.
There is an actor named Rockmond Dunbar, so I think of him. :P
It's all right, I guess. Passable, a little different without being weird. I kind of like it.

Well, looking at the user-submitted info, I see rock mountains seem to be associated and that's exactly what I thought of when I first saw Rockmond. It's pleasant imagery.
I do often like "-mond/mund" names, both masculine and feminine ones. My first impression is that both Redmond and Osmond, which I'm already familiar with, sound better to my ear but I'll let Rockmond simmer and see if it can start to grow on me. I think it may the the hard "ck" sound in the middle throwing me a bit.

I don't really care for it. I could see using it as a middle name if it was a family name (like say, mom's maiden name), but not as a first name.
