Well, to be honest,
Cyan (despite it being of Greek origin), for me, doesn't really have that kind of chic factor and most of the time, I hear
Cyan used on characters in cartoons, comics, you name it.
Sianne, on the other hand, removes this association (obviously), but also has the appeal, at least to my eyes, to be used as an alternative to
Simone (since the Si in Sianne, when pronounced sie-AN, is taken out from
Simon and Sianne as a whole is similar to
Dianne, but with a different initial).
...yeah, I did say I have no reason why earlier. Now I may know why I liked Sianne in the first place.
