Ren is way better than Wren! I think Ren would make a nice nickname for Darren, Kieren, Evren, Laurence, or Terrence.

For a boy, Ren is better than Wren. Wren seems too feminine. I have heard Ren used for Japanese men, and it does sound quite handsome.

I like Wren/Ren for a boy's name better than a girls. The spelling Wren seems more fitting to me as it is how the bird is spelled. It's a rather interesting little bird, and a beautiful thing to be named after.
