[Opinions] Lily
Do you consider the name Lily trashy?
Replies
Lily isn't trashy at all, but it is super popular.
No.
Not where I live. In fact, I can't think of any where I live!
As a name, I'm not keen on it. Lilies are magnificent flowers IRL, but they seem to have a colourless, droopy image that doesn't sit well with me as a name. I prefer more upright, perky flower names like Daisy and Iris. Lily also seems seriously dated - back to the 1890s. Lilian goes back to the 1930s, which isn't much better.

No! I love Lily! It's such a beautiful name =)
Not at all. Popular unfortunately, but not trashy. I love this name.
No.
I think Lily is pretty. It's an elegant flower name that will look cute when she's younger and mature and elegant when she's older, unlike names such as Mackenzie and Harlow.

Not remotely. Lily=classic. Its very popular nowadays but oh well. Still a nice name.
To me, trashy is a name you would expect on a stripper or a prostitute. Lily is trendy (popular), which is a completely different thing.
Nope.
Very elegant. A bit popular, but nothing at all trashy about it.

No, not at all. A bit boring, but not trashy.
Absolutely not. Lily is a sweet, old-fashioned name and not trashy at all. Maybe Lyllie, Lyllee, or Lilleigh but never Lily, Lilly, or Lillie.
No not trashy at all.
Not even a little bit -

Popular and trendy, but not trashy.
Nope. I consider it trendy, and once-dated.
It quite sweet, but overshadowed by popularity.

No. Very weak, cutesy, sissy, and overly precious. Not trashy.
Nope.
Well, I don't like Lily since it's popular, but I don't think it's trashy at all
Not at all.
Not really. It's too popular, though. It's a shame, because it's a pretty name.
