[Opinions] Re: Myranda
Hmmm, Miranda. The nn Mandy puts me off it, but... Mira is cute.
Myranda! I like it. I love 'y' spellings, but they're too often seen as tacky. That's why I cling to Lydia and Sylvia so dearly. :)"You can have freedom, or you can have peace. But not both at once."

The only time I don't like 'y' spellings is when it isn't the normal spelling. I like Lydia and Sylvia, but in Myranda, it looks wrong and changes how I say it. I want to say 'my RAND uh' instead of 'meer AND uh'.

*shrugs* Y spellings feel more natural to me, because it's how most things are spelt how I am. 'I' spellings often make me want to say 'mee', because that's how 'i' is pronounced in Welsh. So I tend to like 'y' spellings.
