[Opinions] Alvydas
I might go on a date tonight (haven't quite decided) with a Lithuanian guy named Alvydas, and I thought some of you might appreciate it. It's a very pretty name, I think. He said it means "all-seeing".

It's cool. I would like it of my boyfriend's name was Alyvdas. Heck, I would even consider dating someone because his name was Alyvdas!

Ooh, nice. Lots of good names in Lithuania. Hope he was pretty too.

I do like the way it sounds. I'd have to get used to the spelling since I don't really care for the way it looks written.

How exactly do you pronounce it?

It's beautiful! Go for it!

I like it - it sounds like the sort of thing an elven prince would be called. Is he beautiful? Did you go on the date?! WE NEED TO KNOW

LOL, he actually cut himself at work kinda bad, so he needed to go to the doctor, and we thought we'd postpone. We are probably going to meet for dinner one day this week. He told me he is an aquarius, so that sealed the deal.

Well, vid is the Russian stem for sight, vision. Al- would be from English all, though. the -as ending is Lithuanian. Not the worst sounding name.

How is it pronounced? al-VEE-das? al-VYE-das? AL-ve-das?

It could grow on me. I don't like how it looks, though. The Y makes it seem like a tryndee creation.
