[Opinions] Re: Aviya (boy)

It's new to me, but I like it, and -a names on men in general. I've known quite a few people with them (including an ex and my husband's boss) so they don't seem strange to me, though I'd be unlikely to use a foreign name myself.
Akiva, Akira, Alyosha & Attila come to mind as similar names.
Béla, Dima, Dara, Derya, Sacha / Sasha, Shiva, Takuya, Tatsuya, Yuuta & Yura are good too.

I've known a few people with them as well, and in my own language -a endings aren't strictly feminine. But most English speakers who I talk with seem to think that any name that ends in A sounds like a girls' name, which can make things kind of difficult.
Alyosha and Yura are both new to me, and I really like them. Dara, Derya, and Sasha are favourites of mine.
Thankyou!
