I like that it's more uncommon without being way out there. Damian is nice enough but all I think is St. Damian's icon.

Which icon? Are you thinking of the St Damian's cross in Assisi?
I specifically meant the Orthodox Christian icons with Sts. Cosmas and Damian (http://www.archangelsbooks.com/prodimages/Giant/Icons/a-43.jpg). Then there is a painting of their beheading that I think of but that's a bit more negative than I intended on sharing. Those are what come to mind with the name Damian.
