[Opinions] Gerhard

I think Werner and Gerhard sound okay in German, but I hate the way they'd be pronounced in English (and I agree with BookEm'Danno: Gerhard is likely to inspire dirty jokes).
I love Johannes, but again, I prefer the German pronunciation, and most English-speakers would probably pronounce it with a J instead of a Y.
Franz is okay...
So, I like Franz & Johannes much more as a sibset than Gerhard & Werner.

I live in Germany and both combos are very old-fashioned. I do like Johannes though :)
Very, very old-fashioned but not common enough to be dated. I've only ever met one Gerhard in my life. I pronounce it like yair-hard.
I'm not a fan of Werner but Werner Johannes is a nice combo. I definitely prefer Johannes Werner though.
Franz Gerhard is again a nice combo and I like the flow and sound of it. A Germanic sibset indeed, but it kind of works.

I'm partially to the sound of it a bit. However, the spelling alone would cause potential teasing as it would take a middle school boy less than a second to come up with 'Gethard' \: funny enough, I do prefer the name over 'Gerald' so...
Franz Gerhard has a good flow. I don't care for the other combo
