[Opinions] Neveah
WDYT? Most people hate it and so do I

It's misspelled. The name most people hate is Nevaeh, though I see your spelling a lot online these days.
While I find it to be annoying because it was just SOOO popular, I am starting to meet little Nevaehs who break the "trailer trash" mold that the name seemed to be stuck in.
While I can't say that I like the name, I am starting to not hate it.
I have always said that it is too bad beautiful choices like Nevena didn't pick up in response to the overuse of Nevaeh.

How do you pronounce this?
nih-vee-AH
NIH -vee-uh
nih-VEE- ah
I tends towards the latter. I don;t hate the name. It;s a cony and cheesy, but the sound is nice enough.

Nevaeh has a lovely sound, but the fact that it's heaven spelled backwards is so very shallow. That was the kind of thing i did when i was 10. And the other spellings are just dumb and ignorant, same as giving an actual word a creative spelling.
I love the "aya" sound ending and there are many real and underused names that have that sound: Linnea, Althea, Astraea, Dulcinea, Poppaea, Rhea, Salomea.

It screams "trashy" like a string of pearls worn with a sweatsuit, little kids coming to day care reeking of cigarette smoke, a mattress left to decompose in the front yard, an adult going barefoot in the grocery store, a knife fight at a wedding, and Honey Boo Boo on crack.
And the spelling Neveah is even worse, because the whole point of Nevaeh was it spelled hevaen backward, so Neveah is as trashy as Nevaeh except now the parents can't even spell.

This name is all kinds of stupid. Nevaeh is marginally better, but still bad (although I will admit that it is pretty).
I don't like it, in part because it's whole corny reason for being is that it's supposed to be "heaven spelled backward" and the rampant misspellings rob it even of that. I don't hate it, though. I used to, but it's becoming just another NMSAA name.
Awful. So made-up, über-religious and no one seems to know how to pronounce it correctly. It's even worse when people spell it Naveah or Neveah. Haevan and Haeven, what's that?
I don't like it, but don't REALLY hate it. It reminds me of Nivea, the cream. I always thought it was a shame it's such a well known brand, because I think Nivea would make a really nice girl's name.
I don't mind it.
Terrible and it's not even heaven backwards, you've spelled it as haeven backwards. Lol
Neveah is one of those names that needs to crawl into a corner and just die already. I absolutely hate it and find it to be one of the stupidest names around.
The whole "heaven backwards" thing never made sense or appealed to me in any way, shape or form. The Neveah spelling isn't even "heaven backwards" and makes even less sense. I've also seen Nevay and Nevaya. No, I'm not a fan.
It's alright. I can see why people like it, and I can also see why others hate it. It's not my style.
My boyfriends niece is named Neveah. I never hated it, but I didn't particularly like it until I met her. I know it's not for everyone, it kind of looks weird written down, but I don't think it sounds horrible. I don't think people give this name enough of a chance. I think it sounds pretty.
It's ok. It sounds really weird though. I can see why some people don't like it
I love it! It sounds pretty and it's heaven spelled backwards. Not sure what the hatred is about. Maybe a religious preference....
AWFUL. It doesn't even have a nice sound, I don't understand how or why it caught on. It's not clever.
I'm not one to hate cheesy names but Neveah is just way too much. It also, for some unknown reason, makes me think of pine-scented things and soap/body wash.
