A woman I went to high school with just had her first baby - a girl named Olive Rainier. I really like it, I think it's chic and spunky.

Also, a coworker's wife just had a baby girl. They named her Milo. On a girl. Yep.

I quite like Olive. Do you know if Rainier is a family name? Cannot condone Milo on a girl. Never will.

I like Olive Rainier. Although if it's after the mountain, I would have gone with Olive Tahoma instead, because that's a lot closer to the native name for the mountain, who was female in old stories. Rainier is just some dead white guy. :P

Two thumbs way down. Ugh ugh ugh. The fact that at least Olive is obviously a girls' name doesn't even begin to count in the Positives column.

I like Olive. Rainier is kinda cool if it's after the mountain!
Milo on a girl ... I dislike that style so much, but I have to admit that Milo does sound feminine so it doesn't bother me that much.

Speaking of boys' names on girls, what was wrong with Mila?
