Congratulations! Nadine Marikit Irene is a very pretty combo and it makes a nice pair with Clarisse Bituin Gioia. Marikit reminds me of a Finnish name Marikki, which is actually a Finnish version of Madicken (= a character from a children's book by Astrid Lindgren).

Congrats, welcome back, and the name is perfect.
(I was really rooting for Nadine instead of Noelle. I tried to cheat the polls!)

Congratulations!! I am so, so that you went with this combination. I know I've waxed rhapsodic to you about the beauty of Nadine before, and how well it works with Clarisse, so I'm sure you're aware of my opinion already... I wont bore you with it again. But, I want you to know hearing this news has made my day. Nadine Marikit Irene. It's a perfect name. Well done. The nickname Nin is adorable, perfect for a baby. She's going to grow up so beautiful, I know it.

Nadine is a pretty name! I can't believe how little it's used.Irene is nice, too.Not sure about Marikit, though. Seems almost Arabic in origin.

It's actually Filipino, but I can see the Arabic feel. Farah was a favorite, so I don't mind the vibe.

Congratulations to you! The names you choose are beautiful. Marikit is cool! What language is it from? Tagalog?
vote up1
Yep. It's direct translation for "pretty". Kinda hippy to use a word-name, but I still like it.

Thank you,
My father picked Irene with the Italian pronunciation. It's his favorite name. Marikit is Filipino. Tagalog specifically and is the word for "beauty" in everyday speak. (husband is Filipino).
I have another daughter - Clarisse Bituin Gioia ("bright, star, joy")
Same pattern : French name, Tagalog name, Italian name. Nickname: Clary
