A bit overused but a nice enough name

The sound is fine. It is just boring, IMO.

I hear it way too much! I kinda get the appeal but I really dislike it. I dislike all Ell- names really.

I think it's a bit boring and greatly overused. It also seems overly simple.

It's a very popular name among children here in Sweden as well. I used to dislike it because I thought it sounded childish, nicknamey and because of it's popularity. Popularity doesn't bother me anymore, and I see Ella in a new light now. I really like it.

I like Ella; I hate that it's so popular. Ella Fitzgerald is one of my favorite jazz singers and the reason why I first started liking it. But the popularity has made it too sickenly sweet and overdone for me to use right now.

I feel like it's pretty and feminine and classic but it just has no substance. It leaves me expecting more.
