Message: "Vivianne" - Behind the Name

Can I get some honest opinions on this name? I'm drawn to it because I think it would make a great contracted form of MIL's name, Virginia Ann. Do you think it works? I would use the vivi-ANNE pronunciation. Vivianne Alice would be the first and middle name, and sisters are Ruby and Gwendolen. I understand there is a vast preference for Vivian or Vivienne, but I'm really loving the Vivianne pronunciation. Viviane has been on my list, but I don't think DH will go for the correct vivi-AHN pronunciation and that would bug me.

I think that Vivianne spelled in this way is a good help for other people for pronouncing it right.

So...you have also two other daughters?
Ruby, Gwendolen and Vivianne are nice together!

I think using Vivianne is a nice way to honour your MIL. Spelling it Vivianne should encourage people to pronounce it how you want it pronounced, but it won't be foolproof and some/most will still pronounce it like Vivienne. Would that bother you to have to keep suggesting to people how to pronounce it?

Vivianne Alice is a lovely combo and it goes well with Ruby and Gwendolen - great sibset!
