[Opinions] Curdie
The Princess and the Goblin was one of my favorite books (and animated films) when I was a kid - still is, actually. I remember that Curdie was my favorite character.
What do you guys think of the name Curdie for a boy? Do you think it's usable? (I'm kinda on the fence as to whether it's usable or not. I like the sound of it, but it is kinda nicknamey...)

Hi !!!
Curdie ...
I didn't know this fairytale...
I'm sorry...
This names is too similar to "cardi" (KAHR-dee) which is the Italian word for "thistles". It also too similar to word "curdi"(KOOR-dee) which means "Kurds".

Sorry, but all I can think of is lemon curd.
Curdie, as in "curdle"? I would avoid it. Yuck.
I think it's dreadful, sorry! It just makes me think of curdled milk - yuck!
Sounds way too much like "Curdle".
All it's making me think of is cheese curds. Also, curdling milk. Sorry.
I love the book, too, but I wouldn't use Curdie. It's a name that belongs in the realm of fantasy literature, at least to me.
not nicknamey ...
Cheesy. I mean, all lumpy like curds.
