[Opinions] Re: Nestine (and a few more)
It's ... not bad. Honestly, I loved it at first. The whole look of it is rather cool and the sound appeals to my personal tastes. The longer I looked at it and said it in my head, the less I liked the 'st' in the middle. It makes the name almost fuddy-duddy (which is why I probably liked it right away!). Definitely an old and dusty vibe.
So, I think it usable, but bold. It's not going to fit in with trends today, but it's not a terrible name. If used in honor of an Ernestine, or as a nickname for one - it's pretty awesome. Aya - Not a fan. "I uh" don't know what else to say about it. Beverly would be hipster cool if I didn't happen to know so many that ruined the character of the name for me. Bev is definitely a modern sound, but would be cooler on a boy today imo (not that I would personally do that!). Maple is adorable. But, I prefer it for cutesy characters in books rather than real life. Like Petunia, Daisy or Bee.
Teo is cool no matter who has the name. Almost too cool as a full name though.______________________________________________
