I have a friend who is known in normal life as Vina (VEE-na), short for Davina which is her legal name.

I and everyone I know however call her Fianna (FEE-na) which is her SCA name and far prettier in my opinion!

I love it! I've been thinking about it a lot lately.

It reminds me a lot of the Spanish word for wine (vino).

I think it's okay as a NN, but I don't like it as a full name.

It's ok. First impression is similar to Mina and Vida.
It sounds a little bit like Venus.
Slightly reminds of Vincent / Vinnie, and Malvina.
And "venal." Not a wonderful feeling, but so minor that it doesn't ruin the name.
