[Opinions] Re: Loretta

I really like it! It's been growing on me lately. But it does sound so, so country to me.
I think maybe it also has a bit of a hipster vibe, because it seems mid-century/vintage, which is sort of "in" right now?
It's my mother's name (she was born in 1957, and her family was very "country"). She hates it...I think mainly because she was named that after a deaf/blind/handicapped aunt who died the year she was born, and that association was apparently so awkward for her and/or her family that she's always just been called by her middle name...plus, it's kind of ironic, considering she's allergic to laurel.
