I much prefer Emilia. I think Emiliana is just too much elaboration. I would pair it with a middle name that is less frilly.

Emiliana is just too much syllable wise for me. I also find it dull. It's not popular but ita match with many name that are just now.

I quite like it. I think it has a similar feel to Arabella; not just frilly, but elegant, striking and a bit dark and magical in a way. I also like that it's clearly a distinctive name with substance and its own 'personality' (which is where I think Emilia falls down). Anyway, I really like it. I'd probably use a middle along the lines of:
