I like it! I generally like it more on a boy than a girl, and it fits with your other son's name.

It would work. Maybe pair a masculine middle name?

I think it's tacky and cheap on both genders, as with most modern names.

I know one boy and one girl called Eden. I don't really like it, sorry.

Eden sounds really feminine to me, mainly because of the potential nn, Edie. Ideally, it should apply to both sexes since it's a place name, but it still sounds feminine to me, sorry.

Er...no. I think the girls are claiming Eden for themselves.

I love Eden for a boy!I actually prefer Eden on a boy. It's very lovely, sounds handsome and dignified, not a name you hear often and will age well. Suggestions for middles (if needed)Eden Maxwell
Eden Zachariah
Eden Charles
Eden Parker
Eden Alexander
Eden Xavier
Eden Markus
Eden Gregory
Eden Tyler
Eden Thomas
Eden Jeremiah
Eden Jerome
Eden Laurence

This is a welcome alternate from Edward - yet still offers the nickname "Ed" or Eddie" (beginning with the short "e" vowel sound) if he prefers; however the traditional "Edie" from Eden with the long "e" vowel on the first & second syllables is immediately available as well. Also -- as Book'em Danno suggests - it rolls perfectly into a middle name.
